Second Grade Traditions:

Family Interview Project-Students will interview a much older adult (an elder). Students will learn about what life was like long ago. Students will present information learned to the class in December.

Flat Stanley/Flat Stella-Send a paper cutout of a beloved character on adventures with family or friends. Friends send in evidence of their adventures to your student and we share those stories and map the travel locations on our class map.

Hero Project- Research and learn about an important influential figure in our history. Create a poster about their lives and positive contributions to humanity. Students will present these posters to the class and share them with the community during Open House.
